Sara Pagiaro is an Italian filmmaker based in Boston with a background in music. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2012, she’s been working as a producer/director and editor featuring national and international awards winning artists such as Al Jarreau, Justin Timberlake, Annie Lennox, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Chaka Khan, Amanda Palmer, Todrick Hall, Rosas Pasos, Toninho Horta, A.R. Rahman and many more. She is the owner and founder of Circle Motion Production LLC. Some of her clients include Berklee College of Music, Schneider Electric Vancouver, ABB Italy and Prospect Hill Academy.
In 2016 she produced, directed and edited the short movie “The Dream”.The film won the audience award at the Online New England Film Festival. In 2018, her short documentary “Meet the Artist: Melissa Glick” was selected at the Boston Short Film Festival and in 2019 at the Online New England Film Festival. The documentary has recently been featured on PBS Vermont.
In May 2020 her public media art installation “Infinity” was commissioned by Boston Cyberart and MCCA on the largest urban screen in New England.
She is currently working on a documentary about an Armenian-Lebanese vocalist and activist who takes her voice around the world to connect communities and help heal intergenerational trauma. Surviving the brutal Lebanese Civil War, she fights the aftermath of war through the therapeutic power of the arts.
She’s passionate about social justice activism and she’s been filming and editing protests videos since the first Women’s March. She is looking forward to bring her creative work as an ally for Black Lives Matter movement.
